I have, If you look at my review of the model 10 precision carbine, I have excellent luck with them. The factory target that came with the gun, was shot with 77 gr SMK.
Has anyone tried the 77's in a 1-9 twist barrel. It can shoot the Berger 73's just wondering about the Sierra 77's.

In my 1:8" twist AR...They are absolute magic! One ragged hole for five shots at 100 yards. Not sure how they'd perform in a 1:9" twist....I've only run up to 62 gr. in my 1:9" AR.

My 9 twist AR shoots them Really well. So you should be good.
Not Sierras, but I have shot Nosler 77gr match out of a 20 inch bull barrel AR-15 with 1:9 twist and it shot clover leaf groups at 100yds with the standard load of 24.5gr Varget and bullet seated out to within .002 of the lands. Sierras would probably work as well. You just have to shove them out the snout as fast as you can without getting any pressure signs.
Thank's for all reply's. Got them on order from Midway.
WHAT CALIBER ARE WE TALKING HERE?

Good to know. Im gonna try some in my AR as soon as it dries up a little.
