    Deciding on Scope Base taper

Ok guys I am going to order a farrel base for my rifle. The scope is going to be a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50mm
i want to zero at a hundred yards but have enough elevation to make it out to 1000yards with a .308
The Nightforce site says it has 100moa of adjustment. Someone also mentioned a 20moa taper base would not zero at 100 yards
    Should I get a 15moa base?

Re: Deciding on Scope Base taper

A 308 will only need around 35moa to get to 1000, so you should have more than enough using a 0moa base, even if your scope is optically centered. If you think you might shoot farther then get the 15 or 20moa. With that much adjustment available it should still zero at 100(my SIII with 70moa adj zeros at 100 with a 20moa farrell base, but it is close).
