Bolt head swap from controlled feed to push feed

Hi guys, I'm a newbie, and am confused. I have a 110 in 300run am I am going to switch to 30-06. The 300 is a controlled feed bolt and I need to go to a push feed head for the '06. Is this just a straight forward swap, or is there more to it? Thanks for your help in advance. It's truly appreciated...

You will need to remove the ejector or it will bind. I am not sure about the firing pin diameter but outside of that it should fit.

Stang is right. You need to remove the standing ejector. Just partially (about a 1/4 of the way out) remove the pin that holds in the trigger group and the ejector falls right out with a shake or two.
