4.40" is short action centerfeed
I have a 111 fxp3 30-06 no accu-trigger with the box magazine. I like the Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist, so I think I need the long action 2997 with the 4.40 center feed? Is their anything else I need?

Call stockys in teh morning to ensure you get the right one the first time.
Long action screw spacing like yours is 5.062"
They are all box magazines. You probably have the blind magazine. Those come in basically 2 types. Stagger feed and Center feed.. Center feed the magazine stays in the stock when the action is removed. You can also tell by position of the round sticking out of the mag. If it is held in the center it is a center feed. Stagger feed is attached to the receiver and the round is held off to one side.
Long actions all have the same screw spacing. 5.062
This is found in the Faq section.

You have a Long action. Your next determination is what kind of feed you have so you can get the correct inlet for your action. There are more Faq articles that may help you if you have any more questions.
