    model id????

The local pawn shop has a old 110 in 300 win mag. It has a bolt coming out of the right side of the stock. This makes it a j series correct? Are stocks available for these if I was to pick it up cheap for a future build?

I am not sure what you mean by "bolt coming out of the right side of the stock" but a 110 in 300WM should be a standard long action staggerfeed and would have the regular 5.06" bolt spacing. I have a 112R J-Series that was a 25-06 and that is how it is. I do not believe that the intermediate 4.52" spaced actions were available with any of the long action calibers.

Perhaps was it a DBM rifle and the "bolt" is the old stlye release that comes through the side of the stock? If it is a old style DBM, you can easily convert to a blind mag by simply changing the mag box.

That's the release button for the old detachable magazine (totally different from the current DBM system). J-series (as they're often improperly referred to) are the early Gen I short actions.

Yup, by that pic and decription it should be a staggerfeed long action with the old DBM. Finding a new stock for that DBM may be hard, but a simple mag box change will make it a SF-blind mag. Should make a decent donor for a build.
