Acquiring stock bottom metal, not the fancy stuff.

So my neighbor want to get a stock bottom metal on his hog hunter. Nothing fancy like from CDI or anything, just regular bottom metal like whats on the 10FP or PC. So would he just need to get a stock that has that design already on it, or should he find someone that is replacing theirs and inlet the hog hunter stock?

Easiest option is to just replace the stock with one that's already setup to accept the bottom metal. If you don't have a CNC with a program for cutting the inlet for the hardware you're just going to make a mess of it and won't be happy with the final appearance.

If you get really lucky or are patient enough you can find one in the classifieds here with the stock and bottom metal that'll fit your rifle. I did :)
