    7mm TCU in a Stevens 200 Action

Does anyone knowfor sure how a 7mm TCU would feed in a Stevens 200 action originally chamber in 223? I have always wanted a repeating 6mm TCU or 7mm TCU light weight rifle. Thanks

I know that there are a couple of members here that have 6x45's (very very similar to the 6TCU) in a Savage setup for 223. I see no reason why it would not work, especially if you are using plastic tipped bullets to help guide the round up the feed ramp, but I have no 1st hand experience with the exact chambers you want.

there is less case taper with the tcu so some slight tweaking of the mag may be needed. also I don't own a .223 savage but you may run into mag length issues depending on how deep you chamber is cut (longer cartridge length)

Thank you for the information. I'm going to give it a try.
