model 135 questions

I have an old model 135 savage revelation given to me by my father. The serial number is C148069. Can anyone give me a manufacture date on this rifle? It is a shooter and has shot many buckets full of bullets over the years. I dont think it has been cleaned since 1980 or so and it still spits them out. A curious fact also, the screw in the front of the trigger guard loosened one time and the gun became an automatic rifle. I fixed that quickly after figuring it out. One for legal reasons and two, I couldnt keep bullets in it. A very tough and accurate Savage masterpiece.

This is the model 135 Savage Revelation I was refering to. I refinished the stock probably 20 yea rs ago. It still looks good.
