Long action, small shank round back Stevens (started life as a 30-06)
30"- 338 Edge Benchmark Barrel with Muscle Break Nitrided for good measure
Sharp Shooters Supply Trigger
Bolt head conversion from Sharp Shooters Supply
Savage 110 BA bolt handle
Choate Ultimate Sniper Stock
NightForce 20 MOA Base
NightForce Rings
NightForce 5-25 ATACR Scope with MOAR Reticle
Throated for 300 Grain Berger Hybrids
Weight as pictured is about 16.5 pounds

Yes, the 300's are just too long to fit the magazine.

Good info. I sold a Stevens 200 LA that was rebarreled in 308. I'm thinking I might try to buy it back and do a 338 Edge.

Mine is a Remage setup based on a Sendero 300 RUM, with a 32" 10 twist barrel and with 105gr + of RL17, I get like 4200FPS + it is the most insane load you could ever fire from a conventional action, There is basically no drop till past the 500 yard mark, The vapor trail looks like a 50 BMG tracer round, you gotta I love it.

sweet rifle. If/when I can ever find some H1000 i'm going to try mine out too. gotta go to my machinist to have him make a brake though. don't want dislocate my shoulder. lol might have to give those 160tsx's a spin one day.
