    Retro fitting

posted this Q at the end of an old post and haven't gotten any feed back.

Intermediate action and I'm fitting it to a long action Tacticool (Boyd). I've removed all wood and have got it ready for bedding...my problem. The front action screw hole is in the bottom of the mag well and there isn't enough wood stock to counter sink the head.

My intentions are to bed the entire thing..including the orig front action screw hole and the empty space at front of the mag well. By doing this it gives me the "stock" to counter sink within the bedding compound.

Anyone done this or have any thoughts on it?

I think that will work. Not sure if you can add some fiberglass strands to the bedding material to add more strength to compound to support your action screw and/or piller in the magazine area. Maybe others will chime in.
