    F Class versus Benchrest Model

Am looking at purchasing a Savage 6BR in either the F Class or Benchrest models to shoot in the Varmint Hunters Association annual Jamboree - both are eligible to compete in the stock and modified classes. Would like the thoughts and opinions on these 2 rifles - hopefully from folks who have experience with them.

    Thanks

Re: F Class versus Benchrest Model

I did a article on this site on the model 12 benchrest in 6br. You have to be a paid member to access the articles section.

Between the two I would pick the 12 benchrest. The f class has a weird stock, that requires a special made rear bag to fit it. The 12 benchrest will fit in a standard rear bag.
