    Long Range Hunter Muzzle Brake

I just bought a LRH in 300 win mag and would like to know if anyone can help me find a direct "bolt-on" replacement specifically this one http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t.../SAVAGE021.jpg

Will this fit the threads of my LRH or can you tell me what specs to look for for a similar brake?

I have used what I believe to be that design brake on both the 300 and the 308. I believe I have an understanding of the braking properties of it or at least that design. So If you are looking for a replacement what characteristics are you looking for that would differ from the one you already have? If we have that information we might be able to offer some advice.

I do recomend, if you have not already done so, that you shoot it at least once withought the brake so you understand what your current setup offers and can recognize what

I want to reduce recoil as much as possible. I know its kinda lame but I like the appearance of the FCP-K which is in the photo and the LRH .338 brake. It seems like the 338 brake should just screw on in place of the current one.

The threads on that barrel should be 5/8-24 for a 30 caliber. I would suggest that you get a brake for a 30 caliber projectile.

You can fit and time these to your barrel using shims or use the nut.
