    110 vs 111 mags

I have a .300 win mag model 111 trophy hunter which I can not find a hi cap mag for, I have found one for a 110 though. Will the mag for a 110 model fit my 111?

If it uses the same plastic release on the magazine body itself, rather than the release attached to the bottom metal then yes they are interchangeable, for example the 110/111/116 Trophy Hunters will all have interchangeable magazines provided they are all for the same caliber. However, to my knowledge, there are no high capacity magazines for that magazine system. The high capacity mags I have seen work with the release attached to the bottom metal. Due to the latch being on the plastic piece on the bottom of the mag, it makes it more complicated to design a higher capacity mag.

Interesting. I have a friend who's brother runs a gun store in Montana, he says he has a 10 round mag for the 110, I'm not sure about the release though.

My mag has the plastic bottom, there is no metal on my stock
