    Savage 10 FP


    I'm helping a friend setup his Savage, Could anyone tell me what the Action Base Screws are to be Torqued at?

    a little more info would help...what stock are you using. If I am bedding and pillar blocking a laminate stock I start at 40 inch pounds and play with tightness from there, usually end up tighter. After I find loads that work I experiment, sometimes it makes a big dif and sometimes not. Caliber might make a dif too...you just need to play with and find out.

    It's the new Accustock with Aluminum bedding block, in 223 cal.
