    556 misunderstanding


    My post about .556 in a .223 was locked by the moderator. Why? It was never intended to be a debate about what round is safe to fire in a 223 or 556. My question was can anyone give a first hand account of actual damage to a rifle, shooter or bystander caused by shooting 556 in a 223. Looking for actual damage, not debates, recommendations or bullet comparisons.

    OP - try using out NEW & IMPROVED Search function & I believe you may have that topic pop up around 6,287,908 times.
