6.5 Creedmoor load testing with H4831SC

The wind finally died down enough to get some load testing done. Here are my results with 4831SC. It definately got more accurate as I went up in grains. The last group was as high as I feel comfortable going, barely started to see some flow on the primers. This was out of a Savage LRP and all loads were .020 off of the lands. With 140 grain Nosler CC.

Honestly I completely forgot my chronograph. I will load up some more at 45.6, might drop down to 45.5 and this time I won't forget my chronograph. According to Quickloads it should be at 2828 fps, I have found Qiuckloads to be very accurate (within 50 fps) but we know real life is a totally different story. I will report back as soon as I can get some loaded and get back out. Might try this load with some SMK and AMAX's just to see what happens. I will keep everything consistant (load, .020 off the lands) etc. I'm just curious.

My 6.5 CM LRP with 41.7 grains of H4350 is, according to the dope out to 1K, around 2820fps, Seated .015 off the lands. Still haven't checked it with a chrono though.
