    93-r17


    ok anyone else have any prolems with savage 93-r17 came with wrong scope pur in july picked it up by the sling and the butstock sling pin just pulled right out anyone have these problem or did i get lemon?

    Sounds like the rear stud simply got stripped out during assembly. If you call Savage I'm betting they will send you a replacement stock free of charge. Have your S/N ready when you call.

    As for the scope, how do you know it was the "wrong" scope? All their literature says is "3-9x40mm scope." Doesn't mention a specific brand or model. Most of the rimfire package guns come with an el-cheapo Bushnell scope while the centerfires rifles always got el-cheapo Simmons scopes until this year when Savage launched the new "Trophy Hunter" package guns which are fitted with an el-cheapo Nikon.

    well i called savage and they told me to send them the stock and i guess they will then repair or replace as for the scope the scop is the right scope but the rifle came with picanny rail but scope is for 1/2 inch wide mount i had a set of scope rings that worked out

    ok shiped savage stock on thursday they had it 8am friday just got scope rings
    today i mail
    off to gooc start

    update fedxed stock on 10 17 received new stock on 24th im happy thank you all for input
