    Savage 93r17 TR bolt wear

Brand new 93r17 TR with less than 150 shots on it and I noticed this wear on the underside of the bolt. Looks to be the contact point between the trigger release and the bolt.

Ive google searched trying to find pictures of the underside of other peoples 17 bolts but have not been successful.

Is this wear normal? Can anyone take a look at this area on their bolt and poat how it looks.

That is where the bottom of the bolt contacts the bolt stop,(the front side of the sear). This is normal, however you should file off the burr it has created.

I just bought a new Mark ii and the bolt has the exact same burr on it...it has never been fired.

I'm planning to take a file to it and smoothing it out.
