Stock with Blind box feeding question

I originally had this posted in after market stocks, probably the wrong area, so I moved the thread.
I am in the process of rebuilding an older model 110 which will remain a L/A round. I have everything ready to go with the exception of the stock. The current stock is a blind box magazine staggered feed type, and the owner wants a detachable system; such as CDI etc... My concern is that if a detachable system is installed that it will not feed properly. Will the detachable system work or should I go with a blind box? The owner go with my recommendations. Most detacable systems are center feed systems. Thanks in advance for the responses.
