Fast twist barrel's with long bullets tend to torgue to the left this stock helps keep gun under control and return to battery quicker.
I shoot a fast twist 6mm rifle. I am thinking about a SSS Dog Tracker Stock for bench shooting. I just don't understand the offset stock. For a right handed twist barrel the extra width on the stock goes on the left side? I'm not sure I understand that. Can someone explain it to me?
thank you

It's just like an action/reaction thing. As the right-hand twist torques the bullets to the right, the rifle gets torqued to the left.Originally Posted by teele1
