Savage BSEV. Funny Looking Gun! But It Shoots Well!

After having so much fun with my savage and seeing how great it shoots my brother wanted one. He opted for the Savage MKII BSEV .22 Jacaranda Evolution because it looked cool. Not what I would want but everyone is different, but in sayin that it’s a nice looking toy. In the time it took him to get the PTA, lay down the cash and get it in his hot little hands, I was testing ammo to see what would work best for me because i can’t have him out shoot me now can I?

The big day arrived and he was like a little kid at Christmas. Left the 6 kids with his wife and off to the range to take delivery. Scope was fitted and sighted in and now its bench time. After a good cleaning to remove the factory crud from inside and out and the first 5 shots went to the 25mt hanging target... WTF?

I just bought the Mark 2 BSEV after comparing it with a CZ 455. I like the accuracy as well out of the box. Nothing not to like about the BSEV so far!

They do have a funky stock!
-Does it have the bull barrel? Seems like they'd be pretty nose heavy. Obviously it shoots well...nice rifle.
