Short action, 300 AAC/6BR...ejection issues?

Thinking of building a 300 BLK or maybe a 6BR on a short action.

Are there any known issues of either cartridge having ejection problems?

Both are prone to ejection issues due to the short case length. Lengthening the ejector travel fixes the problems. I haven't used those exact cases, but I've had a 20 vartarg and 20 BR and both worked fine after the ejector modification.

If you're not familiar with the mod, I think a search for posts by Sharpshooter with "ejector" as the keyword may bring it up.

Thank you...I had done a search but struck out, still struggling a bit with the new site search feature.

A good sharp file makes quick work of it so go slow......it'll take longer to get the ejector out and back in than the actual filing process!
