30BR small base die

What does everybody use for a small base die on a 30BR

Haven't had to yet... are you actually having problems chambering the brass in this cartridge?

Should be able to use a 308 small base die. I have a 30 Bellm and do this.

Yes the last little bit is very hard to close the bolt, I had the same problem with my 22Br and a small base 6Br die took care of the problem, the case neck on the 30BR doesnt allow it to fit in the 6BR die.

Something to investigate.

Q: I'm starting to get bolt click on some of my 30br brass. I know a small base body die would fix this but none seem to be made.

A: A f.l. 45 ACP die will size the base just a skosh. The non-carbide ones size a bit more than the carbide ones.

You might want to shoot Al a PM to elaborate a bit more using a ACP die.
