    Ejection denied!!

Question for all you barrel nut freaks. Got a model 12 in 204. When i go to extract the fired round 9 times outta 10 the empty case lays in the mag tray andwont eject. If i work the bolt fast and hard it does it about half the time. Ive cleaned and oiled the spring and ball and helped a bit but not good enough. What do i need to do?

Do a search of the forums and you will find your answer - basically file the notch in the ejector so it can extend a little farther and usually less important - change the ball to a larger one (the size is listed in the post when you do the search).

Keep the Winchester and dump the Remingtons. The Winchester may become an endangered species and very valuable in the future. If I had the money and you were selling I would take it.

Fred built me a new bolt for my 22-250, works perfect!

It would not eject the spent case until he built me a new bolt!
