Limbsaver Model 10601... is for a Winchester but fits that stock almost perfectly. Just put one on my TH Varmint..adds 3/4 inch.
The boyds recoil pad sucks. I need to also extend the lenght of my stock by about 3/4 an inch. Anyone got any recommendations for one?
Its a thumbhole featherweight for the 110 stagger feed action. Am I basically looking for a grind to fit and a spacer? If so, recommendations?

Did you grind it to fit? Got any pics of it and where it mis matches?
Had to take a bit off the sides on the plastic part. It was about 1/8 inch (maybe less) shorter than the stock....not a big deal to feather it into the pad. Will try to upload a pic of the finished installation.

You can order the better 1"decelertator pad from Boyd's. It made a big difference on my 308.
thats awesome.. what'd it run if you dont mind me asking?
I've tried the Limbsaver and Kick Eez over the years. I beleive the Kick Eez has a better selection of sizes and they are easier to hand sand to fit for the DIY. Go to http://www.kickeezproducts.com/templates.php and print off the pre-fit templates to find the size that matches your bare buttstock the closest. I did not see any significant differences in performance. And I prefer the look of the smooth verses ribbed sides. They also have grind-to-fit spacers under accessories. Midway USA usally has them in stock a little cheaper than ordering direct from Kick Eez. Most grind-to fit pads are significantly over-sized and unless you have the right tools, the final results may be less than satisfactory.
Boyd's now offers to custom install a Pachmyr 1" Decelerator Pad for $25.00 when ordering a stock.
The Kick-Eez pad on my Savage 10ML-II in the picture below has seen a lot of field abuse over the past 4 years, but really tames the recoil. It adds 1 1/8" to LOP.

When I ordered my stock last week, they told me that sometime within the next few weeks they should work out the kinks.
Right now you can only buy the stock online and the option for custom changes can't be done through the website.
When they do get it straightened out, you are supposed to be able to add those options during checkout.
If you want any of those changes now, you have to do it over the phone, and
it will add 2-3 weeks to the order to get those options added.
I chose to have them send me the better recoil pad and put it on myself.
