Model 116 scope base?

I have a NF 5.5 -22 x56 on my 116. I went with a Weaver 1 pc alum picatinny base and Leupold PRW rings. However, I think the base is flexing too much. It came loose once with blue loctite. Am I right about a alum base being too weak for the big scope?

I was thinking a base with recoil lug such as the Badger Ordnance. NF hase a good base as well but no lug. How important is that lug? Worth the extra $32.00?

Does any one on here have one they want to sell. 116 LA.
