Dennis I only load 150grn. but my favorite and my 10fp's is; 41.0 grns of IMR 4895,CCI200 primer, pushing 150hpmk Sierra. I don't have a chrono. but according to the Speer manual it is around 2550fps. I only shoot out to 200yards and it stays well under MOA, next time I shoot I will save a target and try to post it up.

    Dennis,

I've settled with 168 grainers in my .308 rifles. But back when I used some 150 and 155 gr bullets, I had good luck with H4895 and IMR-4895 powders.

Distance from the lands... I guess that would depend on the bullet. Normally I start at 20 thou off the lands and then adjust from there.

If you can find a more accurate load than 168 nosler BT"S and 39.5 grs of IMR 3031.
I would like to know what it is.
I don't think you will find one !
