12FVSS 22-250 blind magazine to detached conversion

Stop me if you've heard this before. I did several searches on this site, and didn't come up with anything on this issue.
I have a 12fvss in 22-250 with the composite stock and blind magazine. It is the 4.4" center feed. I am planning on ordering the Long Range Varmint Laminated Thumbhole - Savage 10 Blind & Detachable Magazine Models from Stocky's.
I would like to upgrade to detached magazine.
I will start with the detachable mag model stock, and then will have to decide where to get the hardware to install on the stock.
Does anyone know if the factory parts will allow an aftermarket, longer (higher capacity) mag, or is there a better aftermarket unit to install.

If you go with factory bottom metal, then the only high capacity mags I am aware of are from www.sharpshootersupply.com

There are a couple of aftermarket choices out there, CDI and AICS come to mind. The aftermarket route can be more cashy, but probably better mags.

Looked into both CDI and AICS, they appear to be best suited for .308 style rounds.
I've played around with 22-250 in a .308 magazine and it doesn't seem to be a good fit.
Or does someone have the AICS mags and 22-250 works fine?
I would do the CDI if I knew the mags would work.

Cant speak for the CDI, but I know that the Savage SF and CF mags are the same for the 22-250 and 308.

Figured it out. Got stock from Stocky's for DBM, ordered mag adapter from brownells for AICS- no inletting needed. Got an extra mag from Scheels for a Ruger. Pillar bedded and all works just fine. Had to get longer action bolts, but local ACE had them (1/4-28 x 1 3/4"). Actually looks awesome.
