need some help with the savage 3 screw trigger

OK, I pulled off my trigger assembly so I could bed the action. Now I cant seem to get the sear back in place and have the sear srping work... any tips on how to get that back together?

Pics would be greatly appreciated. I know the instructions are out there.. but I cant find em. If anyone has the instructions from the sav1 trigger, I believe those would be of great help...

I would think that the pictures in the article would help you in assembly of the trigger
Sorry if it was no help though

No biggie man.. the sear spring is hidden behind the sear, pics dont do a whole lot of work.. an exploded diagram with good directions would probably help...

Thanks, just not quite what I needed man.

    Maybe this.....

Set the trigger housing in first. The holes in the housing should be about 1/2 hole above the holes in the action. If not tweak it's rear tab a bit. It will make assembly a lot easier.

Set the sear in place then use a slave to align the holes. In the pic I'm using a pin punch. Push the slave through the sear, trigger housing and action but stop it short so the sear spring can be set in place.

With the spring setting in place angle the pin in to capture the spring (as in the pic) , straighten it then push it through pushing and following the slave out.

Last, install and adjust the trigger.

The RB Sav-1 instructions are here >http://www.riflebasix.com/SAV-1_Instructions.pdf

    Simple !

Thanks man.. Thats what I was trying to do, but it just wasn't working.. got it sorted out man.

    THANKS

I found that re-installing the housing/sear was much easier with the trigger out of the housing.. so that is where I screwed up.. I lost the freaking retaining clip for the trigger pin... if its not one thing, its another.
