    Trigger Guard

I made a trigger guard from aluminum and need it to be black. What is the best and easiest way? I think that the best way might not be the easiest way but I don`t know anything about it so I`m asking for help.
    Thanks in advance, G

Alumihyde II or Gun-Kote would be the best way to get a tough black finish that won't come off when contacted by gun cleaning solvents. Brownells offers both in a rattle can. I've never had much luck with aluminum blackening products.
