    22hp with a bad bore

My great grandfather's neglected 1899 TD in 22hp came to me in pretty poor condition, with a bad bore. Can I have this old barrel rebored to another caliber to enjoy the gun a little without a major headaches with the chamber and magazine? I am thinking maybe 25-35 since this was the basis of the Sav 22hp.

It also is family to the 30-30 but I don't think you would have enough meat in the barrel to do that.

I'd check to see how much wall thickness you would have left if you went with the 25-35 but if you have enough that would be the ticket.
