    Rail Slot

I just bought a Savage model 12 FTR. I was going to mount my harris bipod to it and found out there is a channel rather than a swivel stud. Can someone please tell me what kind of adaptor fits in that slot? Thanks!

I think this is what you are looking for
You might want to measure the slot just to be sure
    Hope this helps

your rifle should have came with an adapter for the rail. Mine did. I also added some 80 grit self adhesive sand paper to the stock to keep the harris from twisting.

It's an Anschutz style rail. But as scissors said the rifle should have come with the adapter.

I bought it online and it didn't come with one.
