    Bolt locking lugs

My axis bolt has a short locking lug on one side , tho whole thing rotates on the bolt, which side does the shorter lug have to be on. Rifle is a right hand 223. I don`t know if it makes a difference but I would rather be sure.
    Thanks in advance.

A quick way to find out....
If you're shooting long action ammo (30.06, .270, 25.06, etc...) and it won't fit - rotate the baffle. Short action will usually work either way.
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
