I just pulled the trigger on one of these today. Its been excruciating the last few weeks trying to decide on a new scope for my hunting rifle. I almost bought a Nikon Monarch when they were $100 off, but after looking through a Monarch and a Viper at the local gun store, I just liked the Viper more. Then, there was an open box on the sample list for a Minox that I came sooo close to buying yesterday, but I think I will like the BDC reticle more for hunting, as 300-500 yard antelope shots are the norm.

I bought a 3-15 Minox and ended up returning it and getting the Vortex. Don't even consider a scope that has no parallax correction ! My particular Minox had the worst parallax I had ever seen (at 100yd where it is supposed to be perfect and where most people sight in). I had a hard time shooting 2" groups with that scope on a rifle which was always 1/2MOA with a Nikon nearly half the price...
