    model 10 precision carbine

What is the thread pattern for this barrel? I want to put a JP rifles compensator on it. for the .223 models their thread pattern is 1/2 by 28....is this the thread pattern for this rifle?

    223 should be 1/2-28 and 308 is 5/8-24, IIRC.

I had a JP recoil eliminator on mine but replaced it with a standard flash hider that was a takeoff from my LR308. It didn't really need the brake and in my opinion just looked full retard. To each his own. 5/8x24 is correct.
