    Help With Mixed 223 Brass

After having little luck finding new 223 brass, my order of 500 once-fired reconditioned military brass finally arrived. It looks pretty good and after only measuring and shooting 10 I think it will work out well. I have separated this and found 160 of 2010 and 125 of 2009 Lake City, 120 of 2010 PMJ, 30 of 2008 TAA, and the rest mixed 2002-2008 Lake City. I don't plan on mixing brands. Do any of you have experience mixing across these years of Lake City? Right now I would plan to mix the approx 100 of 2002-2008 for hunting rounds. I would love to just mix all the Lake City but that may be a push.

Ive been mixing LC brass from the mid 60s to current runs for eons w/ no noticeable difference and they are all loaded the same for p-dogs.
Even at the range I still can shoot all under .900" with 10 different LC cases.

I try to put the LC in 100rd batches by date. If I have less than 100 I will mix them as hunting or plinking ammo. However, I don't think it will hurt anything to mix all the LC if that is what you want to do.

Dont worry about mixing them as long as your not at a max load. I shoot mixed brass for plinking and P-dog ammo... If I am target shooting I use same headstamp and year. My ar cant tell the difference its always minute of prairie dog.

Thanks for the feedback guys; this is for the Savage so I will keep the LC years in batches. Do you have any experience with the quality of the PMJ brass? I shot 5 LC plus 5 PMJ, and got equivalent point of impact and group size but that is a pretty small sample.
