    Tuning Old Style M93 Trigger

Anyone Have Any Info on Tuning the Old Style Trigger on the Model 93 Bolt Action Rimfire Rifle.
Mine has a Little Take Up & Over Travel Movement & I'd Like to Lighten the Pull Weight.
Otherwise it Breaks Clean & is Very Useful. I'd just Like to Know How to Tweek it a little.
Any Info or Links Will be Greatly Appreciated.

I've been a member at Rimfire Central for about 10 years. There's lots of good info over there. For the Savage rimfire trigger fix (this was before Accu-Trigger) go to this page:

While you are over there, take a look around. It's a big site and I consider it a must-have for a rimfire enthusiast (or rimfire beginner).
    Enjoy!

Yes it is a fantastic mod! I have an old pawnshop beater mKII with the old style trigger that I did this mod on a while back, and it is a fantastic trigger. I would venture to say it is probably as good as any of my hunting rifles, and breaks clean right at about 1.5 to 2lbs.
