Do you have a Detachable Box Magazine, or is a Blind Mag?
I'm going loony trying to figure out my magazine options for my rifle. It currently sports a 4 round magazine that I think is center-feed. What do I need to look at for magazines from 5 to 10 rounds that fit without any changes?
Thanks,
Szumi

For dbm non axis guns http://www.darkeaglecustom.com/ or sharp shooters supply, I'm on the list for a few from dark eagle. As of last week I could not find any in stock.
My 10 FCP doesn't have a blind mag. I'm thinking it is center feed. It holds 4 rounds and comes out of the bottom of the rifle. Did Savage ever make a rifle that accepted an AR10 or M1A mag?
I'm on the DarkEagle wait list.
Thanks

Another more expensive option is to send the rifle to CDI Precision, with new bottom metal put in you'll be able to use the AICS mags. If CDI has them in stock if and when you get the work done... buy mags from them. For the 223 mags they had the same price as midwayusa. Good luck with your hunt for mags.
I ended up with the darkeagle mag. Works fine. Consider me a happy customer. :)
excellant.....there worth the money..I kinda wish id of purchased 2 from him
I got my dark eagles a couple months ago and love them. Very nice pieces.
Any difference functionally between the SSS mag and the Dark Eagle one, besides the round count? Price is basically the same, but seems like the DE ones are hard to get ahold of?
Just an FYI, there's a Dark Eagle Custom mag for sale here if you are interested...

I guess those of us with long actions are out of luck?
There are the zRat mags too. Good guy to deal with. Ask and he might be able to fab something for the long actions too.
