    Decent Group. Model 10

    Hi Guys,

This 4 Shot group was shot at 117mtrs off a Bi-pod and rear bag with American Eagle 50 Gr Tipped Ammo from my Hunter Max 1 with a 1-9 Twist.

The ammo is so cheap it's not funny but it groups like a demon in this rifle.

We had a few groups similar with various shooters to make sure it was not a fluke.

Looks like 1K+ order is gonna happen on this ammo!

That's nice!... gotta love it when you find a rifle that shoots the cheap stuff! I have a ruger 10/22 that will shoot dynapoint bulk packs litterally in the same hole at 50yds. Wish they all were that frugal.

    Yeah, It's great!

During the sighting in we were constantly going through the same hole at 50yds leaving us searching for where the round hit... Should also add that the scope was a Buckmaster on 18X.

Not bad if that's not match ammo, and by cheap you mean $12/box of 20 or so.

    Yeah pretty good!

Down here in NZ it costs about $19NZD a box and that is excellent value as we do not have the supply that you guys get!

Heck, Cabelas probably sells more .223 ammo than NZ even gets supplied with!

Seems like it prefers a slightly dirtier barrel and also noticed the poi hardly moved even after the successive groups.

love that "Medium" fluted barrel but it is still too heavy to carry for long periods.

Think I'm gonna do a "Specialised Varmint Rig" with this one. The Hs precision stock looks the goods and the CDI Bottom metal with Accuracy International 10 shot mag may be the go. 5 Rounds is not enough when culling large mobs of Goats.
These bad boys go down with a decent shot and their numbers are huge here in NZ in certain areas. They make for nice sized Trophy heads if you are into that. And also great "Big Game" for our youngsters when moving up from a .22
