A few more things to weld on. and painting. whats missing here is the upright peice for a cradle for the rifle stock. which is now done, and the long arm cut down.
here is the monstrosity of dog-but welds and a few nice beads too.
copied in part from a buddies rig that works well. a sandbag goes on the table. ooopps forgot the beer holder :)

I would not mind a left arm rest. otherwise though they would be in the way of getting in and out.
tonight I welded on a "chair lock". that way it can be locked in postion, for getting in and out safely, and won't swing while driving.
Have to make some thing to move it with... its just at the point of being too heavy to move easily, and backbreaking to get into the hitch.
somthing with wheels and maybe make it from a cheap hydraulic car jack.
The beer holder is the most important part.
