Sfage model 11 Centerfeed safety

Gentlemen, I am having a problem with the button that you use to slide the safety on or off, asI cannot get it to attach to the actual safety, it simply falls off.
What am I missing.
This was/is a model 11 lefty action I purchased from another member, and it had been dissasembled.
I sat on it awhile, trying to make up mind what to use it for until I recently purchased a 250 AI barrel.
I had the action cerakoted sniper grey, and have reasssemble it, but now this button is pushing my buttons.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Slide the button in from the rear of the receiver over the red button, then install the safety bar. Look close at the button & receiver & you will see matching angles. The button has recess that safety fits into.

Thanks, I'll try again, but it seems like the button has had the angles stretched out.
