MKII F Scope Mounting Questions

Quick question on the ring height needed. I have decided to go with the following setup on my MKII F model:

Scope - Vortex Crossfire ii 2-7x32 rimfire http://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Crossfi.../dp/B00794LKMW


Base Mounts - Weaver 24 2 Piece Base Gloss Front or Rear Savage Mark II

For the rings, what height will I need to clear the factory open sights that came on the MKII F completely? Will medium work or will I have to get high rings with the setup listed above?

High rings to clear the barrel. You can probably remove the sights to make a little room.
