AS for box ammo black hills 168 grain would be the closest that I know of.
For reloading I think the sierra 168 42.5 grains of varget, 0.020" jump, cci primer does the trick in my flcp-k
I have a model 10 FCP-K that really really likes Remington Premier Match 168 SMK box ammo. (4" groups at 500 meters) But I can't find any and don't reload yet. I can find Federal Gold Medal Match 168 SMK but haven't shot it enough to know how close the velocity is to the Remington version. I know they vary with the lot, but I can't remember a bad lot of the Remington ammo in the short time I've been shooting it.
Is the Federal close to the Remington in velocity and OAL?
If I were going to reload 308 what powder and weight would I start with to match the Remington?

Missed, thanks for the input. Would you think the Federal GMM 168 would be pretty close as well?

The federal gmm is what everything else is judged from.
As for match box ammo the only thing I have shot has been federal gmm and black hills match 168 grain.
I just got done loading 100 165 grain sierra game kings, and 100 168 grain sierra match kings now hopefully I will get to shot this weekend.
try the GMM 175--my rifles shoot it even better than 168. I reload 180's

I bought 200 rounds of GMM 168. That will hold me probably until prices come back down.
