Depends on what reamer spec you ask for. Standard "no turn" would be .272. Some folks like the neck measurement a little tighter, like .271. You build it the way "you" want it.
I am in the process of setting up to reload for 6mm BR norma and would like to know what the neck chamber on the Shilen and McGowen barrels are reamed to.

Got two Shilens (.272) One Douglas (.272) Two Pac Nors (.272). You get what you ask for or "what they have" on the shelf. Get it the way "you" want it.

Personally, I like the tight neck jobs. It just seems to be a bit more consistent accuracy wise for me.
