Bolt handle question please.....

I have owned quite a few Savage bolt actions over the last twenty years, and going through my parts box I found a spare bolt handle.

This came off a fairly late 110, just before the change over to the accutrigger. I kept it as I prefer the smooth knob over the later checkered versions.

I notice that the accutrigger bolt actions all have a round top rear receiver ring, and that the cam(?) directly ahead of the bolt handle has been reshaped to more closely follow the receiver lines. This seems to not be present on the earlier accutrigger bolt actions, which still apparently used the cam from pre-accutrigger rifles. It seems to be a later feature.

In any case, I am curious if my older bolt handle will function on accutrigger equipped rifles, regardless of cam style.

Am I clear in my descriptions, or have I muddied the waters for y'all?
