magazine lips specs

i have a savage model 10, precision carbine in .223 caliber.
the magazine lips will not hold/support all 4 cartridges,
if i try to insert the second cartridge then the lower cartridge bounces the topmost cartridge out.
are there specs as to what the distance between the lips should be?
(UPDATE, from Savage technical, back .420, middle .419, front .398).
any suggestions on how and where to bend the lips would be appreciated.

My inclination is that the specs are there just who has them? Savage's magazine department? Seriously. I dont think the dimension is the same all the way from end to end...is it? Have you tried to pinch in each side in small increments? taking measurements along the way? What I have found is tht if the bolt will pic it up and push it to the chamber you are good to go. Kind of an approximate thing for me as long as it doesnt scratch my brass.
