Winter is always long and cold here in Canada, so I decided to keep busy and build another Savage custom rifle. This latest one joins 2 others built in the past 2 winters. Here's a list of components used in all 3 with photos below.

How do you like your 260ai? Range report?
So far, I've done 1 round robin ladder test at 600 yards with 6 loads (3 rounds each). I have a node around 46.4gr of H4350 (load 5 in the photo below) with Lapua Scenar 139gr and CCI BR2. Average speed was 2915 fps with ES of 18 and SD of 9.2. I'm still not completely satisfied and have decided to try the same test with 6 loads of H4831sc.Originally Posted by redman

Simply stunning and excellent components used.

The stocks were carved from a blank with inletting assistance from a machinist friend with appropriate machinery. Here's a photo of the blank:
