swapping internal mags

i saw this a while ago but cant find in a search i picked up a 223 blind mag and follower to swap in my 308 action how do you remove and install the mags stwist off? compress with channel locks?. anyone know

Depends on the gun, is it staggar or centerfeed. A staggar feed you place the flat blade of a screw driver at the tab at rear of mag and give it a slight rap and it should pop off,replace it just the opposite direction.Center feed use said screw driver and place under the front lip of mag and gently pry up out of stock.
