Shot my new 450 Bushmaster Striker today. Thank You Apache for the great barrel. The gun shows good accuracy and potential to be a very solid 200-250 yard deer gun. But, I will need to have a brake installed to shoot it better. The barrel is a 17.5" varmint shooting 240gr Hornady XTP mags. Recoil with max loads was a bit stout and my wrist feels it.

Also, shot the Savage 25-06 varmint barrel from BootsMcGwire. Shot a nice 3/4" five shot group without even trying with 117gr Sierra Game Kings. Thank You Boots.

Also, shot my project Stinger 260. Managed a nice just over 1/2" five shot group with 120 PRVI cheap BTHPs and cheap PRVI 7mm-08 brass necked down. The barrel is an ER Shaw from the gunshack group buy. I will post some pics of the completed gun when I can, but to say I am thrilled is an understatement. Started with a stock flatback 111, built the stock like other members on here have shown with Bondo, got a Nikon Monarch 6x20 from a member here, and a Boots bolt handle. Now I just need to loose the stock trigger. Thank You Boots, Gunshack, and other for the ideas put forth on this forum.

A pic of the stock. I drilled several holes from the top of cheek piece down and placed alot of 44mag 200gr cast bullets in it, lined the outside edges of everything with decoy weights and 30 cal bullets, bondo, and painted. I also filled the magwell with cast bullets and epoxied a single shot follower in place. I did not put the time into the final bondo finish that others have but it shoots. Thanks to all again.
