    12 lrpv dbm

Where can I find one? I am looking for either an action or rifle

I had read where they are basically the same as the 110 ba in a large action? If that is so does that mean the 300 win mag 110 ba is a short action the same as the 12 lrpv repeater?

They are a short action. They would basically be a shorter stainless version of the 110ba action. I have one but had to watch gun broker for a few months and buy a used one. It is stainless unlike the 110ba action. The one that is the most like the 110 ba action in a short would be the action used in the 12lrp and they are still being made and more avalible.

    Thank you for the information.

The model 12 lrp, since there is no picture I assumed it was just another fully opened action verses the smaller port action?
I am not concerned about the stainless. Would actually prefer steel action. Is the action screw spacing the same as 4.40 centered mag?

If any one has some pictures can you post some of a 12 lrp action?

LRP is the smaller port, Target, Large shank action (not open top) and 4.4 centerfeed spacing.

I pm'ed the person that listed that but haven't heard back.

Now that I know the lrp is the same action I may just order a new one.

Is there any advantage to the action on the lrp verses the lrpv? I know it would cost more that have the lrpv action then to have it machined to accept the DBMS? Or is it just going to far?

Does anyone have any experience with any after market actions that could be used like a savage where you have the ability to change barrels and adjust head space with out a lathe?

Shilen is a nice action made by stiller which I have and like.
They were not really that helpfull on the phone when i asked about multiple bolt faces but you may have mor luck.

You can also get a remington and have a barrel and nut made by pacnor and you can switch out just like a savage. Also northlander offers the same thing. He calls it a remage barrel. He is a sponser on this site and has them listed in his classifieds.
